Job Title: Year 3/4 Class Teacher (Job Share)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: 2–3 days per week (Job Share)
Location: Castle Cary, BA7

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3/4 class teacher to join our friendly and dynamic school team as part of a job share. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with another teacher to plan, deliver, and enrich the learning experience for lower Key Stage 2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in a Year 3/4 classroom
  • Collaborate and plan effectively with the job share partner to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils
  • Maintain excellent standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and welfare
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and curriculum enrichment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience and a strong knowledge base in lower Key Stage 2
  • Be an excellent team player with strong communication and organisational skills
  • An enhanced DBS which is ideally registered on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
