Year 2 Teacher - maternity cover

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team to cover a period of maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture our pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential in a caring and creative environment.

Job Title: Year 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Contract: Temporary for the duration of the maternity cover
Start Date: Monday 3^rd November 2025
Salary: £120 - £140 per day. AWR will be addressed after 12 working weeks.
Location: Nelson

-          Be a qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1.

-          Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and end of Key Stage assessments.

-          Be a positive team player who contributes to the wider life of the school.
