Job Title: Year 2 Teacher
Location:
East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, West Bridgford

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

£150 - £180 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and school leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Understanding of assessment and data analysis
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience with phonics teaching and early literacy development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
