Year 2 Teacher – Primary School – Halewood

Location: Halewood, Liverpool
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanent)
Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Halewood is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team this January. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and engage pupils in Key Stage 1, helping them achieve their full potential.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in KS1 (Year 2 experience preferred).
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
