Job Title: Year 2 Teacher

Location:

East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Clifton

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£140 - £170 Per day

Job Duties:

The Year 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons to primary school students. This includes creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents. The teacher will also be expected to participate in staff meetings, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the overall school community.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Relevant teaching experience in a primary school setting - Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Year 2 students preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students - Strong classroom management skills - Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning - Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or English as a Second Language (ESL)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
