Year 2 Class Teacher – Full-Time | Newton Heath | September Start

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils can flourish
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
• Prepare pupils effectively for the transition into Key Stage 2
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil achievement
• Promote pupil wellbeing, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, with Year 2 experience being advantageous
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
• Have the ability to differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities
• Be committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
