Year 2 Class Teacher – Full-Time | Newton Heath | September Start
Teaching Personnel is excited to be working alongside a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Newton Heath, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team from September.

The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils can flourish
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
- Prepare pupils effectively for the transition into Key Stage 2
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil achievement
- Promote pupil wellbeing, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, with Year 2 experience being advantageous
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Have the ability to differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities
- Be committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
