Year 2 Primary Teacher
North Sheffield (S3, S4, S5, S6 & S35)
Through Teaching Personnel
Pay: £120 – £200 per day
Start Date: 23rd February 2026

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to work across a number of welcoming primary schools in North Sheffield, covering the S3, S4, S5, S6 and S35 postcodes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys supporting pupils at a vital stage of their learning journey. The role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as ECTs looking to gain valuable Key Stage 1 experience.

The Role:

  • Teaching a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports academic and emotional development

  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Working collaboratively with school staff, support staff and parents

  • Opportunities for day-to-day, short-term or long-term supply, depending on your availability

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (desirable but not essential)

  • Strong classroom management skills with a caring, patient approach

  • Adaptable, reliable and passionate about primary education

  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
