Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to work across a number of welcoming primary schools in North Sheffield, covering the S3, S4, S5, S6 and S35 postcodes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys supporting pupils at a vital stage of their learning journey. The role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as ECTs looking to gain valuable Key Stage 1 experience.
The Role:

Teaching a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports academic and emotional development

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

Working collaboratively with school staff, support staff and parents

Opportunities for day-to-day, short-term or long-term supply, depending on your availability
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (desirable but not essential)

Strong classroom management skills with a caring, patient approach

Adaptable, reliable and passionate about primary education

Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
