Year 2 Teacher – Full Time – September Start
Bulford, Wiltshire
M1–M6 Pay Scale

A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Bulford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive school community with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, high-quality teaching, and inclusive learning. The successful candidate will take on full classroom teaching responsibilities, including:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Is passionate about inspiring young learners
  • Has excellent communication and organisational abilities

Salary will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6), depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
