Year 2 Teacher - Bromsgrove 

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in the Bromsgrove area who are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a confident teacher who enjoys working within KS1 and can create a positive, engaging classroom environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged to achieve.

About the Role

The successful Year 2 Teacher will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum

• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development

• Establish clear routines and maintain strong behaviour management

• Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching where needed

• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support individual learning needs

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

• Follow school safeguarding policies and promote pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching within KS1, particularly Year 2

• Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum

• Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and establish positive routines

• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil progress

• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Has a flexible and supportive approach to teaching
