Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of primary schools across ST5 who are looking for Year 1 and Year 2 Teachers to support their pupils from September 2026.

These opportunities are ideal for teachers who want greater flexibility around their schedule while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom. Whether you are looking for part-time work, additional teaching days, or a role that fits around other commitments, we can provide opportunities to suit your availability.

The schools we work with offer welcoming environments where teachers are supported by experienced teams and encouraged to provide engaging learning experiences for pupils.

The Role

  • Teach across Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
  • Deliver engaging lessons following school expectations and planning.
  • Support pupils with their academic and personal development.
  • Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Work across a range of primary school settings.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
  • Has strong classroom management skills.
  • Is adaptable and confident working in different schools.
  • Is passionate about supporting children’s learning.
  • Can quickly build relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Wants flexible teaching opportunities.

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
