  • £160 - £180 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

A welcoming and well-supported mainstream primary school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes is seeking a skilled Year 1 Teacher to join their team. The school is part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust, offering excellent collaboration opportunities, shared resources, and a strong support network.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Deliver high-quality phonics sessions with confidence and consistency
  • Create and maintain an effective continuous provision environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in Year 1
  • Strong knowledge of phonics schemes and early reading
  • Experience with continuous provision in KS1
  • Confident classroom management and a proactive approach
