Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Fully Qualified Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young minds? If so, we want to hear from you! Our thriving 2 Form Entry Primary School in Blackburn is seeking a talented teacher to join our team and provide maternity cover for the period from January 2025 to July 2025.
The Role:
As a Year 1 Fully Qualified Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' personal and academic development.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being.
- Participating in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) status with experience teaching in Year 4 or a similar age group.
- A strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
