Year 1 Teacher – Fulwood (Full-Time, 12-Month Contract)
Start Date: September

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a highly regarded primary school in Fulwood on a full-time, 12-month contract starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school with high expectations for both pupils and staff. The successful candidate will take on full class responsibility and must be confident in delivering high-quality phonics teaching, ensuring all children make strong progress and meet age-related expectations.

The Head Teacher is looking for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring young learners and supporting them in reaching their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Be confident in delivering effective phonics instruction
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be passionate about early years education
  • Be committed to raising attainment and fostering a love of learning

This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as fully inducted teachers.

Pay: Rates are in line with the Main Pay Scale, ranging from £168 to £220 per day, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
