A well-established mainstream primary school in Blackburn is seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a 1‑year maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is dedicated to delivering high‑quality teaching and supporting pupils through a key stage of their early learning journey.

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons for a Year 1 class.

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
