Year 6 Primary Teacher – Full Time – BH15 – Starting After Easter

The Role – Full Class Teacher Responsibilities
This is a full-time Year 6 class teacher position, starting after the Easter holidays.
You will take on full teaching responsibilities, including:

Long and medium-term planning in line with the KS2 curriculum

Delivering engaging, structured lessons that prepare pupils for SATs
-
Marking and assessment in line with school policy
-
Tracking pupil progress and implementing targeted interventions
-
Attending staff meetings, phase meetings and CPD sessions
-
Contributing to the wider school community
-
Building strong relationships with parents and carers
A strong understanding of SATs preparation, assessment frameworks and end-of-KS2 expectations is essential.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
-
Have recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 6 experience highly desirable)

Be confident with full planning, marking and data tracking
-
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
-
Be organised, resilient and adaptable
-
Have high expectations for both achievement and behaviour
-
Be passionate about supporting pupils in their final year of primary school
