Teaching Assistant – KS2 & KS3 | Full-Time | September Start

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive middle school? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team this September, working full-time with pupils across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Work with pupils across KS2 and KS3, providing both classroom and small-group support.
  • Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs, encouraging confidence, independence, and progress.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management where required.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children in an educational or similar setting (preferred but not essential).
  • Be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping young people succeed.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or be willing to undertake training (desirable).
  • Have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
