The Role:

• Position: Year 4 Teacher
• Start Date: January 2025
• Contract: Full-time, for the rest of the academic year
• Location: Nelson (BB9) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of each child.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the learning experience.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
