Year 3 Class Teacher – Fulwood

Full-Time | January 2027 Start | Main Pay Scale

We are recruiting a full-time Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming faith-based primary school in Fulwood from January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is actively seeking a full class teaching role and is ready to take responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessment of a Year 3 class.

The successful teacher will be supported by an experienced full-time Teaching Assistant, providing additional support with learning and the day-to-day running of the classroom.

The Role

As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will:

• Take full responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessment of the Year 3 class
• Deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with the experienced full-time TA and wider school team
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
• Be comfortable supporting and upholding the school's faith-based ethos and values

What We're Looking For

The successful teacher must:

• Hold full UK QTS
• Have recent and relevant experience within Lower Key Stage 2
• Be confident taking full responsibility for a class
• Have strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
• Be committed to providing high-quality learning opportunities for all pupils
• Be comfortable working within a faith-school environment and supporting the school's ethos

Previous experience working within a faith school would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay

This role comes with full class teaching responsibilities and will be paid in line with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) and the Main Pay Scale, where applicable.
