Job Title: Year 2 Primary Teacher
Location: BH12, Poole
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: After Easter Half Term

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in the BH12 area. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter half term, ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Support pupils in preparation for end of Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs)
  • Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Uphold the school’s values and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
