Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant – ALN Base – Full-Time – Pontypridd
Location: Pontypridd
Start Date: ASAP / Upcoming Term
Pay: £93 – £110 per day (paid weekly, depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday)

We are currently working with a supportive school in Pontypridd that is looking for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work within their ALN base, supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils who require additional help with their learning, communication, and development in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting pupils within the school’s ALN base
• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Assisting pupils with their learning through the Welsh language
• Supporting pupils with communication, engagement, and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and ALN staff to deliver tailored support
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Patient, caring, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in supporting pupils with additional learning needs
• Experience working with children or ALN (desirable but not essential)
