This is a rewarding, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll support pupils with a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs—helping them stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn. Your presence in the classroom will make a real difference.
Experience in education, care, or youth work is beneficial—but your attitude, reliability, and resilience are what truly matter.
Travel Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you may be required to travel between local schools at short notice.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with diverse learning and behavioural needs

Delivering structured strategies to improve engagement and academic progress

Assisting with literacy and numeracy activities

Managing behaviour with calm authority and positive reinforcement

Helping maintain a safe, consistent, and supportive classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
