Job description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home/School Setting)
Location: Worcester
Hours: During school hours (flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Worcester area. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one tuition either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

You will work with students who may require additional support to improve academic performance, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, schools, and support staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring)
  • Strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, or Science preferred)
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience supporting SEN or EHCP students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
