Job description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Worcester Area

Location: Worcester
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support learners in the Worcester area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students on an individual basis, helping them improve academically, build confidence, and stay engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each student’s needs

  • Support core subjects such as English and Maths (additional subjects are a plus)

  • Plan and adapt engaging lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback

  • Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred

  • Strong subject knowledge in relevant areas

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, reliable, and passionate about education

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience working with SEN or vulnerable learners

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
