1:1 Tutor – Home & School-Based (School Hours)

Location: Wolverhampton and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours (term time)
Contract: Part-time / Flexible
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support to pupils in their homes or within school settings across the Wolverhampton area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by delivering tailored tuition to children and young people who require additional support to achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition during school hours.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet each pupil's individual needs and learning style.
• Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and complete session records.
• Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in a school or educational setting.
• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent is desirable).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between pupils.
