1:1 Tutor – Primary & Secondary

About the Role
We are looking for passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support primary and secondary-aged pupils across Walsall, Dudley and Wolverhampton.
Tutoring will take place either at the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours, providing tailored educational support based on each pupil’s individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition to primary and/or secondary pupils.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet individual learning needs and objectives.
- Support pupils to improve their academic progress, confidence and engagement.
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning abilities and needs.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain a positive, supportive and safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with schools, parents/carers and other professionals where required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- Experience working with primary and/or secondary-aged pupils.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, flexible and supportive approach to working with pupils.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs is desirable.
- Relevant teaching qualifications such as QTS, PGCE or equivalent are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
