Tutor – Standish (WN6)

We are looking for passionate and adaptable tutors to support learners in the Standish (WN6) area who may need extra help outside of the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education or who need additional support to reach their potential.

You will deliver 1:1 tuition in core subjects, as well as offering encouragement, structure, and guidance to help learners re-engage with education. Sessions take place face-to-face, either in a pupil’s home or a local community setting, and are tailored to each student’s individual needs.

We’re looking for tutors who can:

  • Deliver Maths and English tuition (other subjects a bonus)

  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, or confidence issues

  • Plan engaging sessions that build knowledge and self-esteem

  • Record progress and provide constructive feedback

What we offer:

  • £25–£30 per hour, based on experience

  • Flexible weekday hours during the school day

  • Weekly PAYE pay with no umbrella deductions

  • Ongoing CPD and a dedicated consultant for support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
