TP Tutors is seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils across Rugby and the surrounding areas. Tuition sessions are delivered either in the pupil's home or within a school setting, depending on the individual learner's needs, and take place during school hours.

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

• Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet each pupil's individual learning needs.
• Support Primary and/or Secondary pupils in English, Maths, Science, or other curriculum subjects based on your expertise.
• Work with pupils who may have SEND, SEMH needs, medical needs, or who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Track pupil progress and complete session reports after each lesson.
• Work collaboratively with Local Authorities, schools, parents and carers to achieve positive educational outcomes.

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
• Experience teaching Primary, Secondary, or both.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, adaptable and child-centred approach.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between tuition locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
