1:1 Tutor Required – Nuneaton Area

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?

TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to pupils across the Nuneaton area. Tuition sessions take place in pupils' homes or school settings during school hours.

This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people who may be out of mainstream education, have additional learning needs, or require personalised academic support to help them re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to each pupil's individual learning needs.
  • Plan and adapt engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Assess learning needs and monitor pupil progress.
  • Complete session reports and provide regular feedback after each session.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, families, schools, and local authorities.
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of two years' UK teaching experience is essential.
  • Experience delivering the UK National Curriculum in a school or tutoring environment.
  • Qualified teachers or experienced tutors with strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, organised, and committed individuals who can work independently.
  • A passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive educational outcomes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
