Job description

Are you tired of the classroom dynamic and not really feeling you can engage with your student individually? Do you want to build those relationships and see students shine outside of a traditional educational setting? If you are a Fully Qualified Teacher who is looking to work on a part-time basis in Lincoln and the surrounding areas, then this role may be for you!

We here at TP-Tutors are always on the lookout for aspiring tutors, aiming to make a difference in the everyday lives of students. Specifically, we are looking for Primary tutors to join our ranks and make a difference for students in EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

As part of our organisation, you will need to be able to build a relationship with this student to help tailor your approach to cater for their additional needs and preferences. You may be looking for something long-term, short-term or even just curious about what roles are currently in the market. For any case, we can support and we would love to hear from you!

The pay for Fully Qualified Tutors are £25-30 per hour. It is desirable for the applicants to hold full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils will need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.

Requirements for the role:).

-          A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.

-          An excellent grasp and understanding of the English Language.

-          An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).

-          A strong subject knowledge of the specialism and curriculum of your choice.

-          Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.

-          GCSE delivery experience (Desirable) and UK Delivery experience (Essential).

-          Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
