1:1 Tutor – King's Lynn

Location: King's Lynn and surrounding areas
Setting: Pupil’s home or school
Hours: School hours, Monday–Friday
Role Type: 1:1 Tuition

Make a Meaningful Difference

We are looking for a QTS-qualified teacher to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to pupils across the King's Lynn area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys working closely with individual pupils and tailoring their teaching to meet specific educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and structured 1:1 tuition.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Assess individual learning needs and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Support pupils to improve their academic progress, confidence, and engagement.
  • Set appropriate learning objectives and monitor progress.
  • Maintain clear records of sessions and pupil development.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, schools, and relevant staff.
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of delivering the UK Curriculum.
  • Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A patient, professional, and supportive approach.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
