Job description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Coventry Area

Location: Coventry
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support learners in the Coventry area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students on an individual basis, helping them improve academically, build confidence, and stay engaged with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to individual learning needs

  • Support core subjects such as English and Maths (other subjects desirable)

  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit different abilities and learning styles

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback

  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience within the UK curriculum

  • Strong subject knowledge

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, reliable, and committed to student success

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience working with SEN or vulnerable learners

  • Understanding of safeguarding practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
