1:1 Tutor – Primary & Secondary Students
Location: Banbury and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support Primary and Secondary students across Banbury and the surrounding areas. Tuition sessions will take place either in pupils' homes or within school settings during school hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition sessions.
- Plan lessons tailored to each student's individual learning needs and objectives.
- Support students with curriculum-based learning, exam preparation, and study skills.
- Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with students, parents/carers, and schools.
- Maintain accurate records and provide feedback as required.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a Primary or Secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Experience supporting students with a range of learning abilities and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners on a one-to-one basis.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the Banbury area is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
