About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking a dynamic and dedicated Technology Faculty Lead to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner or aspiring leader to take on a key leadership role within a forward‑thinking and inclusive school. The successful candidate will lead the Technology faculty, driving high‑quality teaching, curriculum development, and strong student outcomes.

The Role: Technology Faculty Lead
As Faculty Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Technology department, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
You will work closely with senior leaders and colleagues to shape curriculum direction, support staff development, and promote a culture of ambition and excellence across the faculty.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the Technology faculty, driving high standards of teaching and learning
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons where required, maintaining excellent classroom practice
- Monitor and analyse student progress, implementing strategies to improve outcomes
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure a coherent, knowledge‑rich provision
- Support, coach, and develop colleagues within the department
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and high expectations across the faculty
- Contribute to whole‑school improvement and strategic planning
- Engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community
- Participate in professional development and leadership activities

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge within Technology
- Proven track record of effective teaching and raising attainment
- Experience or readiness to take on a leadership role
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support colleagues
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing
- Desire to contribute to whole‑school improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
