Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants for a lovely specialist provision in the borough of Wandsworth. The students you will be working with have sensory impairments such as visual/hearing. Some students have other diagnoses of SEN and complex needs.

SECONDARY TEACHING ASSISTANT

Supporting the learning, development and personal care of students in the secondary site

Successful candidates will have:

  • A willingness and motivation to learn and build new skills
  • Flexibility with age groups, you will be working with children aged 5-25 years
  • Experience or willingness to carry out personal care
  • Experience with SEN or in an educational setting
  • Degree educated or relevant qualifications (desirable)

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • A valid DBS certificate on the update service (we can help with this if you don’t have one)
  • 2 recent references
  • 2 proofs of address
  • The right to work in the UK/UK passport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
