Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent SEMH School located in rural East Grinstead that caters for students who have mental health needs, and some have been diagnosed with being on the autistic spectrum.

The Schools rural location places a strong emphasis on outside learning and would be very well suited to ‘outdoorsy’ types – there will be plenty of opportunity to assist students in subjects such as Horticulture, Forest School and Horse Riding and Equine Studies, as well as practical and creative subjects such as Science, Personal Social and Emotional Education (PSHE), Physical Education, Art, Textiles, Ceramics, ICT, Food Technology and Drama.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a huge part in helping students unlock their full potential. You will provide them with ongoing academic, social and emotional support and ensuring they attain a high-level of well-being self-esteem.

Mentally resilient and able to think quickly on their feet
‍♀️‍➡️ Energetic and in good health – Comfortable being active for large parts of the school day
Team players who have excellent communication skills and can contribute ideas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
