A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a primary school classroom teaching assistant to start as soon as possible in the Harrogate, HG3 area. The upcoming position involves guaranteed short-term TA work and the opportunity for a longer-term position at the school. 

Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this school is located within the HG3 postcode of Harrogate and is close to the city centre and public transport such as; buses and train services. This primary school are looking for enthusiastic and supportive TA who can help raise pupil attainment in core subjects across year groups in Key Stage 1. The friendly primary team are looking for a confident and experienced TA who will help enhance the schools ethos, values, expectations and beliefs. 

Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teaching assistant.   • Candidates must be available school hours, full-time andf able to start as soon as possible
  • Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in a primary education environment
  • Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
  • Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing one-to-one support for pupils of lower abilities or pupils with SEN
  • Candidates must have an up to date CV and 2 references which are educational based
  • Candidates applying MUST have previous experience working with Primary school aged children in a professional capacity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
