Are you looking to work with a child with Special needs? Are you looking for a full time or part time/ permanant position? 

We have the perfect role for you!

We are looking for a teaching Assistants to work in a Primary or Secondary Schools in Southsea, Emsworth, Waterlooville, North End or Fareham. This will be a permanent role.

You will enable academic progress for pupils in a classroom environment and provide the support they need to feel happy, secure and comfortable whilst pushing them to succeed and excel expectations. You will work with pupils who require additional support, working with them to manage their behaviour as well as ensuring that they successfully achieve the desired outcomes of the day. The role will be varied, also providing support on a 1:1 and small group basis; ensuring that all pupils are meeting curriculum standards.

The class are reported to have low need, and would benefit from someone friendly and energetic, someone the children can relate to and build a happy relationship with.

The school requires staff who have previous experience of providing this support but often find that previous Nursery Nurses, those with Degrees in education Studies and Previous care assistants get on well in these roles. Give us a call to see if your experience would work.

Hours will be 08.30 - 15.30 Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
