Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Wisbech.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to the teacher and assist with the delivery of engaging lessons.

Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need additional support.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful, encouraging atmosphere.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children is essential (in a school, nursery, youth group, or similar setting).
-
A calm, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
-
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
-
A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Desirable:
-
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
-
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
