Teaching Assistant – Wimborne Area
General Classroom & 1:1 Support | Flexible Travel | DBS on Update Service Preferred
Teaching Personnel is working with a number of supportive and welcoming primary schools in and around Wimborne, with additional opportunities across Corfe Mullen, Dorchester, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils both in a general classroom capacity and on a 1:1 basis.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, is keen to make a positive impact, and is open to travelling to nearby schools when required.
Position Details:
- Role: Teaching Assistant (General TA & 1:1 opportunities available)
- Location: Wimborne, Corfe Mullen, Dorchester + surrounding areas
- Start Date: Immediate and September 2025 starts available
- Contract: Full-time or part-time, flexible to suit your schedule
- Pay: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience and role)
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a school or supporting children (formal or informal)
- Is confident providing both general classroom support and 1:1 assistance
- Can build positive, encouraging relationships with pupils and staff
- Is open to travelling to multiple schools in the area (driving is preferable)
- Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred – support available if you need a new one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
