Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools – Southampton (SO14)

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their early education? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Southampton (SO14 and surrounding areas).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to start or continue their career in education, providing classroom support and helping children achieve their full potential.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting children in the classroom with their learning
-
Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need extra help
-
Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, engaging environment
About you:
-
Experience working with children (schools, clubs, or volunteering are all welcome)
-
A patient, caring and supportive attitude
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or already on the Update Service)
Pay and benefits:

Pay starts from £13.75 per hour

Weekly pay through PAYE – no umbrella company fees
-
Flexible working hours – full-time and part-time roles available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
