Teaching Personnel is proud to be working closely with a warm and welcoming infant school in the Bursledon area, who are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team at the start of the new academic year.
The Role:
This is a full-time, term-time position working within Key Stage 1 and/or Early Years, supporting pupils in class and delivering small group interventions. You will be working closely with the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and pupil development – helping children to thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant (school-based or similar)
-
OR have transferable skills from roles such as nursery assistant, youth worker, SEN support, or pastoral care
-
Be confident supporting children aged 4-7 in their learning and development
-
Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable to the needs of individual pupils
-
Work well as part of a team and have strong communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
