We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Southampton and the surrounding areas. This flexible opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, value work-life balance and are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
• A relevant qualification or classroom-based experience (desirable but not essential).
• A patient, adaptable, and confident approach to supporting learning.
• Ability to assist with behaviour management and classroom routines.
• Confidence supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
• A professional, reliable attitude with a strong commitment to safeguarding.

Your Role:

• Supporting the class teacher with lessons and daily classroom activities.
• Providing focused support to individual pupils or small groups.
• Assisting in the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and supportive environment.
• Encouraging pupils’ progress, confidence, and independence.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
