Teaching Assistant
DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR EDUCATING AND SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE?
Qualifications:
- Hold or be prepared to obtain a DBS on the update service
- Previous experience working within education or childcare
- Previous experience working with secondary aged children
Skills:
- Attentive and caring with great attention to detail
- Organisational skills and ability to manage own workload
- Genuine enthusiasm for education and working with young people
- Experience working with pupils with SEN and SEMH is beneficial
- Great communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Job Duties:
- Assist the teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons
- Support and supervise students in the classroom and during activities
- Help create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs
- Assist with the planning and preparation of teaching resources

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
