The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our students and teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and promoting an inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs) and assocaited difficulties. 

• Assist in classroom management and create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

• Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.

• Prepare and organise resources for lessons and activities.

• Help monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or special needs.

• A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality.

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are an advantage but not mandatory.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
