Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Lincoln
Working in Partnership with Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is proud to be working closely with a number of large and reputable Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. These trusts are home to a wide range of inclusive, well-resourced schools that place a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, collaboration, and professional development.
We are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary school settings. These roles offer excellent flexibility, with immediate starts available as well as opportunities for those seeking a later or more flexible start date.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning within the classroom. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing in-class support to teachers to help deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to support academic progress
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties (where applicable)
- Encouraging positive behaviour, inclusion, and engagement
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and developmental needs
Roles are available on a full-time, part-time, or flexible supply basis, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking work-life balance or varied experience across different school environments.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working in a primary or secondary school classroom
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
- A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
