£95 – £105 per day PAYE

A forward-thinking primary school in Bedford is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join its dedicated Access to Learning team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils who may require additional academic, behavioural, or emotional support to succeed in the classroom.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning
• Deliver structured intervention programmes and targeted support sessions
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Support children both inside and outside of the classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN professionals
• Contribute to strategies that help pupils overcome barriers to learning

• Experience working with children or young people
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships
• Calm, adaptable, and resilient nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping pupils achieve their goals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
