Teachers and Cover Supervisors – Inspire Learners Across Great Yarmouth

Travel Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you may be required to travel between school sites and support a variety of settings.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering or supervising engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum. Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, you’ll help them achieve both academic and personal goals while maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering or supervising high-quality lessons across your subject or key stage
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging resilience
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for professional, adaptable individuals who can thrive across different school environments.
You will be:
- A qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (required for teaching roles)
- Or a cover supervisor with a recognised qualification and confidence leading a classroom
- Confident managing routines and engaging learners
- Calm, patient, and flexible in your approach
- A strong communicator, able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Committed to ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
