Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive First School in Wimborne that is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach a Year 1/2 class within a nurturing and inclusive school where children are encouraged to develop a love of learning and staff are supported to thrive. The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can create engaging learning experiences and help every child reach their full potential.
The Role
- KS1 Teacher – Year 1/2
- Full-time position
- September start
- Paid to scale (M1–M6 dependent on experience)
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure excellent outcomes for all pupils
- Contribute to the wider life of this friendly and vibrant school
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
- Has high expectations for learning, behaviour, and pupil achievement
- Is creative, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering outstanding teaching
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
- Is reflective, organised, and committed to continuous professional development
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
