About the Role
We are seeking a Humanities, an English and a Maths Teacher to join a specialist school from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teachers who can inspire and engage students across a range of subjects while promoting high standards of achievement and personal development.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, create a positive learning environment, and support students in reaching their full potential. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities, English and/or Maths to a small class of SEMH secondary aged students.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies.
- Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Humanities, English or Maths at secondary level.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success
- SEND/SEMH Experience.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
