Teacher of Technology – Basingstoke

Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full time
Salary: MPR / UPR
Key Stage: KS3–KS4 (11–16)

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Technology to join its Design & Technology Faculty from September 2026. The Design & Technology Department

The Role

You will:

  • Teach Technology across KS3 and KS4 with engaging, well‑structured lessons
  • Plan for progression and support learners of all abilities
  • Use effective assessment and feedback to monitor and improve progress
  • Create a safe, purposeful and well‑managed learning environment
  • Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice
  • Support enrichment and wider school initiatives

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Has strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
  • Can teach KS3–KS4 (any specialism considered)
  • Delivers engaging and practical lessons
  • Is committed to high expectations and inclusive practice
  • Works collaboratively and contributes to team development
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, resilience and a passion for teaching
